A fixed auto-cashout means betting the same stake every round and cashing out automatically at one chosen multiplier. It’s the simplest approach in our crash game strategy guide, and the one we’d suggest for most players, because nothing escalates. The real question is which target to pick.

Comparing targets over 200 rounds

$500 bankroll, flat $10 bets, 3% edge, 200 rounds, 10,000 sessions:

Target Win rate Median end 10th pct 90th pct Bust rate
1.20x 80.8% $444 $348 $528 0%
1.50x 64.7% $435 $315 $570 0%
2.00x 48.5% $440 $260 $620 0.1%
5.00x 19.4% $450 $50 $800 9.8%
10.0x 9.7% $400 $0 $1,000 26.9%

The expected loss at every target is 200 × $10 × 3% = $60. The medians all sit near $440, $60 below the start, while the spread and the bust rate grow with the target.

Picking a target

  • 1.20x–1.50x: long, calm sessions. Expect frequent wins and slow, steady losses.
  • 2x: the balanced middle, with clear swings but rarely a bust at 2% bets.
  • 5x and up: lottery-style. Lower your stake, because long dry runs are normal.

Common mistakes

  • Changing the target mid-session after a loss. That’s chasing. Stick to the plan you set before the session.
  • Manual cash-out “to beat” auto-cashout. Reaction time and lag cost you, and the odds don’t improve.
  • No stop rules. Fast rounds burn through a budget quickly. Use auto-bet stops. See our auto-bet settings guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best auto-cashout in Aviator?

For the smoothest sessions use a low target such as 1.2x–1.5x with small stakes. For bigger wins per hit, try 2x–5x with smaller stakes.

Why do I lose even when I win 80% of rounds at 1.2x?

Each win pays only 0.2× your stake, while each loss costs the full stake. You need to win 83.3% of rounds to break even at 1.2x, and the game delivers about 80.8%.
